![]() Rain is Like a FogA Poem by Doug
Like a Japanese monsoon it comes. I’m the 80 year old grandma With black umbrella That’s not staying dry. I feel the wind starting up stronger. On the dock I stand, Watching the water rise. The storm is here. Rain is like a fog, Hiding the On the other side of the lake. Seeing her gently touch The back of his neck Rushes it over me Like a Japanese monsoon. © 2008 Doug |
