She's So Paris

She's So Paris

A Poem by Doug

I see in sepia tones.

She smokes like a flapper

From the ‘20s.

There’s a shimmer in her eye shadow

While the smoke slowly creeps

Out of her mouth.

She’s so French standing

In this autumn park.

The leaves are rain soaked

As we stand hearing shutter clicks.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Fantastic sketch of a person. I can see her, and she's so interesting.

About
One night while I was asleep I had the words, "Veni, Vidi, Vici" repeating in my head. All night this happened. I want to somehow use this creatively. I feel like it was a sign to use it for some s.. more..
