My Curiousity

My Curiousity

A Story by misaljo
"

My Dr Suess moment.

"

To satisfy my curiosity

I tried to defy earth's gravity

I guess it was done too carelessly

for people questioned my sanity.

“It seems I acted too foolishly,”

I began to say so emphatically,

"While building my monstrosity.

I’ve caused myself pain and injury."

I was beginning to feel the humility

that caused all this animosity.

Then someone stated so kindly,

a fact he voiced whole heartedly.

"What we have seen may be silly

but what he needs is our loyalty.

He's sitting here quite hopelessly.

Let's help out most favorably."

And then it seemed as suddenly

as I had built unskillfully,

they fixed my craft so expertly

while I watched with great intensity.

When all was quiet in the vicinity,

I gazed upon so delightfully

what they built for me very carefully.

It was an object of intense beauty.

I must admit rather sheepishly

that I began to feel some jealousy.

What seemed to oppose my ability

They had created rather skillfully.

In order for me to make history

I must choose my actions willfully.

And do everything correctly

So I cause myself no more agony.

So without any fear or anxiety

I climbed the ladder defiantly.

The weather was cooperating perfectly

which tickled me most delightfully.

I flipped the buttons so eagerly,

The engine roared almost perfectly.

I held on to my chair very tightly

As my craft hovered so slightfully.

The ship vibrated so roughly,

With the utmost of velocity.

It jerked and shook so violently,

That my eyes spun around so remarkably.

Then BOOM!

I sat in my chair so quietly

While I listened and waited so patiently

For any abnormality

To cause a noise so suddenly.

I jumped to my feet so silently

And peered around so eagerly

Then ran to the door very swiftly

And threw it open rather hastily.

And what did I see so perfectly

Were my friends acting peculiarly

They shook the craft jokingly

Which made me feel most foolishly.

Then they cheered so loudly

And applauded my creativity.

My idea was out of the ordinary,

Which is something I cherish most memorably.
