What If?

What If?

A Poem by Michael Alexander

What if the sun died out tomorrow ?

What if there were no pain,

 a total  absence of sorrow?

What if the Earth were no longer to spin?

What if men expressed peace,

 no more would they sin?

What if the moon suddenly fell from the sky?

What if , oh indeed,

wonders only I?

What if no one had to ever get hurt?

What if  people truly cared,

and not just sported the shirt?

What if we all felt the love from our mother?

What if not abandoned,

to be cared for by another?

What if I could turn back the hands of time?

What if I could change

all these ‘what ifs’ that enter my mind?

Really cool piece. I'm also a "what if" guy, haha.
