Kid you know just how to make em scream

a poem i wrote a long time ago, i just found it on an old blog. it gave me goose bumps.

a shot of [gut|wrenching] screams.

with a soft melody to chase.

justforscreamingsake

burning vocal cords.

screeching with [distress.

dont stop] now.

the crowd's just getting started.

choking down the urge

at breakneck speed.

[bruised and diseased,]

but, at least your pleased.

now, without pause,

there is something more. something grand.

forget your idols.

take a stand.

dontdieout now.

the crowds just getting started.

[and kid, you know just how to make them scream].

now take that microphone.

and that shotgun voice.

and tear down the walls.

create some noise

i always use brackets in my poems, they set aside different phrases that kind of change the tone of the poem.
