Nature is my metaphor

I feel bitter.

But the flower that’s already so bright

And deeply coloured

And has its leaves reaching above its petal

Has never screamed and wept and sniffled

Or yanked its heart away from the soil

because it hasn’t received the drops of water that could nourish

 Its lungs and state of mind

And because nature is a metaphor

 for the human life

I hope that I could be like the flower

And bear the day where

There is no inspiration to write

the poem sounds random and childish and too emotional but so am I

Wow, I like what you did with the typical flower metaphor. You've got a good understanding of language and how to set up internal turns in the poem. I couldn't see or want it any differently than this, I too hope to be able to bear that burden one day.

I had too read this a few times to get its feel, I sense some emotion, You speak of the flower but the flower has no arms to do all , It has no heart or mind , It just bares its beauty, it takes water for the flower to keep going, Just as us we cant live without water. We have to look deep within all for our roots to be planted, Sometimes in the mist of it all we cant see the beauty and that makes us seem we are not much at all. To find that inspiration we have to let go and look beyond .
