Unfold the eyes

Unfold the eyes

A Poem by Mirna
"

It's not hard to understand.

"

Must the tree have legs

For it to stand?

Must the ocean have hands

For it to touch the sand?

Must the plant have a brain

For it to grow on land?

And must a creator be seen

For us to understand?

Perfect! What a beautiful poem I read in a day! It again refreshes my mind .. so much mystery`s hidden behind your beautiful words .. so much emotions, truth, misery & the peace reflecting through the words. Beautiful! I simply loved reading this short--write! Well written!

This is great!
It's simple, but the use of questions is really so effective here.
A thought-provoking, powerful and beautiful piece

Although we cannot see the roots we know they are there. I think that concept applies to the others as well. Life goes on and unseen forces are at work. Things grow when we are not looking, Waves go on although no force is seen pushing them. I suppose we could ask the question how does one maintain hope while things are crumbling around them too. I think this is a well thought out concept.
