Worries

Worries

A Poem by Mira Apreleva

I'm worried that I think of it too much.
It's dangerous go running up this stairs.
Just got my heart a brand new healing patch,
Don't want to lose it gasping for some air.

I want to keep myself locked in the room,
It will be pain to feel sun twinkle on my cheek.
My insides brewed in perfect slimy gloom,
My newly grown carcass is yet too weak.

And I can feel the distant thunder roar,
My ground shakes a bit, but I'll withstand.
I wear my armor, but I swear there is no war
To wage between by fingers and this hand.

There is no chance to take, too early to let in.
These teeth are way too sharp to form a smile.
I'd never ever want someone under my skin,
I don't want let someone near me for a while.
