The sting of life is painless

The sting of life is painless

A Poem by Poppie Mira

The sting of life is painless

If you are not prepared to nurse your wounds

Though it bite deep to the core of your peace

 Silence is a prize

Who want to brew the storm?

The sting of life is painless

Eager to lift your spirit to flames

Ready to drag your feet to the grave

Set to celebrate at your downfall

Who want to be embarrassed?

The sting of life is painless

Like an isolated house built on web of lies

 Windows are shattered by jealously

Doors are locked by ignorance

Who want to call it home?

The sting of life is painless

I pray day and night to my Creator

Not to be wobbled

By the thoughts and deeds of the evil

Who want to go to hell?

The sting of life is painless

Give it time to heal

Swallow your pride

And live

Who want to be stung by life?
