Let us be unity

Let us be unity

A Poem by Poppie Mira

A nation is chased and scattered by fire

open your hearts and hands, embrace them

give them a white garment to walk on your streets

perish your colour discrimination street

pave a way to showcase unity

unity is light path for the righteous world

let us be one like our creator

for the sun smoulder us all

and we all return from dust

we strive unity

 but not united yet

our hearts are a knot of I am

I am never unites but scatter unity

So true. Unity IS the power and the key to a happier, better world. A world of no discrimination, racism, it is what we all aim for. But how can we, when we all think "I am..." and judge others? Unity is the power, the key, but I doubt we will be able to live to see us ALL unite. It is a truly sad thought, but how can we deny? Us humans are just so pitiful. We say what we want, but never act upon it. Our statements are just that. not TRUE wishes and wants. Good poem.
