A Poem by Mira

If I had to explain you in terms of pictures,
Then I would say,

You are similar to the picture of hills and mountains.

Mesmerizing beauty with bone chilling cold,

Like the mystery of nature hard to behold.
Overflowing with tranquility,

You look down in silence,

Smiling at the puny humans trying to break your heart of stone.

The age old pride and ego of Man has settled down on you,

Numerous poems and stories filled the room

In the quest to touch your soul.

You play by your rules

Which are inconsiderate and hateful.

Tearing you down will crush down many,

And everybody is not like you.
