Days after YouA Poem by MiraI expected something to stay behind, an anger, a sorrow, an emptiness. But there is a profound fulfilment. A saturation of something unknown. A memory? a sorrow? happiness? It is as if you were never there. The illusionary me from the past Is still hallucinating about a future. The time when your absence was a constant presence Seems a faraway dream with a forgotten story. I have lost my words, I have lost my world. You were not the Sun, I didn't make you one. The path I was supposed to tread have gone astray. I am stranded on an island Waiting for a ship to pass by.
