Mother Earth has Feelings tooA Poem by Kyle W. HuntA shout out to the earthquake in Japan
You can hear it
The earth groaning in pain As it splits itself apart Clutching its chest for what it has done The homes it has consumed The lives it has taken Mother Earth has a heart too A core That says it is still alive and well But as all living things do She makes mistakes The stormy weather in the sky is how she says goodbye For what she has taken from us And so she provides still land for us to stand And families for us to lean on Even if they are in unexpected places
