Video Vixen

About a porn star.

Pretty girl

has pretty scars.

Her pretty heart

broken.

Turns away,

trusts no one.

Her window eyes

not open.

Her past shows the lies,

the petty flies.

Still she always had been

hoping.

She had reached out.

had tried to trust,

but it only left her

moping.

For all her hopes

had come crashing down,

and she barely could stand

coping.

And in her last act of desperation,

because nothing else was

working,

she turned into a video vixen.

And since all her hoping has gone down the

drain,

and all her heart hold is a ton of

pain,

she turns to the videos, hoping they will

work.

But all they deliver is a world of

hurt.

The attention she

craves

the means of getting them, she will take to her

grave.

A proud girl,turned

slave.

Judged for what she needs

by others who are just the

same.

The only thing that’s different

is that her desperaition has a

name.

I dig the idea. It is a very good topic for a poem that probably not many use. Personally, I think the way it jumps around kind of distracts from the actual words of the poem. I think you forced the rhymes a bit, when maybe they weren't all that necessary. Not trying to be negative, but I think it's a great poem and I would love to see it improved a bit.
