Lies They all are

Lies They all are

A Poem by Nero Skie
"

A poem

"
In the end is it not just a beginning?
If you tell the truth could you not also lie?
Why should I listen to the voices that don't speak?

My life is in shambles I live on the edge
With out her my life would be dread
I'd have no safety I'd have no comfort
In the end it will fade like all else has before it

If it had not been for the one stroke of a knife
I think that this messed up piece of a life
Would be a bit better but black as the night
on which it was born

if only, if only I hadn't made that mistake I would
have know how she really felt
and I could have asked if the lies were the truth
But in the end all that i know is Lies they all are

Except for the truth with her I'll have a friend
and a life, to spend...
