No one really wants them

The creatures treated cheap

No reasons given for it

So they just put them to sleep

 

They are only bred for profits

Often kept cluttered in sheds

See no sign of daylight

Until the right price is paid

 

The conditions sometimes awful

Barely have room for their beds

Sleeping in their own urine and faeces

Mothers bred and bred and bred

 

So if you’re going xmas shopping

To buy a pet for your kids

Please don’t buy from a breeder

Choose one from a shelter and donate instead

 

For the animal you purchase is far from a toy

It experiences many feelings just like you or I

For if you don’t abandon it

You will enjoy many years of joy

very nice job on this. this is a subject close to my heart. and these poor things even when rescued their life is hard, filled with sickness. what on earth is wrong with us? we who were asked to care for the animals. ugh... very nice job on this...

I was thinking about the chicken houses and such when reading this. It's pretty sick what people do to make money. Adoption of animals is really a good cause and helps the world. Euthanizing animals because there are too many is horrible. Thanks for writing ^^ I enjoyed reading.
