You

You

A Poem by minicoop

If I were to write a thousand words

You,

Would not understand

If I were to wait outside your door

You,

Would not see

If I were to hold you tight

You still,

Would not feel

You do not know

You do not see

You do not feel

And if I were to tell you to Stop!

You,

Would not

You,

did not know what I know

You,

did not see what I see

You,

did not feel what I feel

You,

were dead

And I,

wish that you were not
