Falling

I know I’m being silly,

But every time she makes me laugh,

I always forget my place.

 

I catch myself blushing-

Stupid me,

Why am I blushing?

 

It was just a smile

It was just a hug

It was just a wink

 

And yet my heart won’t stop

That erratic dance it does

When her eyes meet mine.

 

It’s pointless

How those green eyes

Captivate me and my heart.

 

My Heart and I are stuck;

My face goes red

Just at the thought-
