I´m Not Deaf

I´m Not Deaf

A Poem by Christina

I hear laughter in the trees

and whispers through the leaves

I hear the buzz from the bee’s

And singing from beneath

I hear wedding bells.

I hear the promises you

promise to keep,

I hear the cracks in your voice

I hear every consonant.

I hear you listening,

But not for me

I think your poem connects really well with your title. Use of language is good + very unique

The ending literally made my jaw drop I love it. Maybe add a couple more lines just to fully get the picture in the reader's mind. I love this piece, great job.

short but not sweet, but still good :) you manage to capture the bitterness in the final line and express a distant longing that builds up nicely, at least to me.
