Untitled 2005

Untitled 2005

A Poem by Mia
"

Written September of 2005, back when I was heavily religious.

"
Though the Back is turned,
Does the Garden still yearn for Man?
Though the Betrayal reigns,
Will Oppression be everlasting?
With the Snake deceiving one side,
And the Dove guiding the other,
How can the Choice be that troublesome?
Nonetheless, my Decision is

Clear.

Though my back was turned,
I still yearn for the Garden.
Though the Betrayal had reigned,
My Oppression is mortal.
Though the Snake deceives,
My Dove will guide again.
And I will dwell in the House of the Lord
Forever...
