Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor

A Poem by Heath Mindy
"

This is written for my sister who I love very much and will always remember her dearly.

"
You sure are blessed! In so many ways, I doubt you could count all your blessings in any one of your days!
You were born as beautiful as Elizabeth Taylor, and some of her films characters,, also reminded me, of some of your ways.
I guess you got those from Mom, like Scarlet, and her plantation ,(she tried so hard to save,) a strong woman for sure.
Now you have your own plantation, and more and more, and more, come through your door!
You had such a litter, yet you kept all your glitter. Now each of them have theirs, and you have had your tares.
I often think of myself as the Velveteen Rabbit, all torn apart, yet I see my dear sister, has sure had, her start!
As much as we try not to have the drama, life has plans of its own, yet in the end I am here to assure you, you at are not alone.
Your beautiful inside and out and that is a work of art, I know God isn't finished with you yet, so keep looking up to Jesus, each day as your start-
I realize your no nun, and God had no desire that you'd be one-
He has you as His own, and you see...you don't cast the first stone. That is all because He lives, and you are never without Him, no never alone!
