December 25thA Poem by Heath Mindy
December 25th
Is a day to uplift The memory of a babe Born in a stall Never forget this story, each Christmas To recall. For each child to know, as each child does grow This is a story in there life's journey will show, We were each born for a cause, although in our death, not all will applause, Yet those that do, will matter eternally, Pray each child will have ears to hear, and eyes to see. To say the Lord's prayer, "Not my will but thine," Is something that takes more than any strong spine, It takes trusting God, the Father, above, Who sent Jesus to earth to show us His love; So as you approach this Christmas eve, Look up Luke 2, and roll up a sleeve, Pray that to Jesus, each child loves to cleave. Be sure to as well read chapters 22-24, Go ahead and take time read in between and even more! When morning arrives and each opens a gift, remind them of the gift of Love, Jesus came to uplift. By taking away All of the penalty Of each and every sin- Only to each crack and corner, of ones heart to fill in With love from above, Just more, love, love love! Remember forever, He came and he for you, suffered on that cross, He is The King, Glad tidings to our Eternal Boss! The most important message of all, in this story do recall, That from that cross he was placed in a tomb, and then resurrected, yes today Jesus does live! So in each repented, and believing heart, He is able His love to continue on this earth, individually, to give! So reach out your arms and do as He does lead, to express His precious love and pray for a planted seed, to grow a blossom of His and put out a weed. © 2016 Heath Mindy |
