Christmas is Near

Christmas is Near

A Poem by Heath Mindy

Christmas is near
Could you hear
The sounds of the clock causing fear?
Did you get your cards out? Did you see a child pout?Did Santa eat too many cookies, is that why he's stout?
Maybe he's not coming because he's on a diet?
Or maybe he just did not know ,where to buy it?
Oh right, he has elves that make all those toys?
Where does he go to find good girls and boys?
You've answered all these questions, you've done your very best...
Still there is one more that you must gift for rest!
Make sure your children know there is a place to go, to ask for what matters above all the chatters-
For safety and salvation of each living soul that lives in your house, may they be there no trolls.
If you have but food and a roof over your head, be sure to give thanks for each love as you bed.
If time gives a way for a future with more, Give thanks that you know the Savior was poor-
He worked hard with each hand, once a carpenter man, making table and chairs
An example of trusting the Father with all of our cares.
He was born on this earth, we celebrate on December 25th,
When ever it was, it was so His name we'd uplift!
Thankful for love coming down from above-
He eventually left with a dove in His place, Forgiveness for you, if you only believe, love to fulfill and wrong doing erase.
So as the season approaches
May there not be a trace
Of unforgiveness or wrong doing as Christmas comes near..
Suddenly
When you least expect it
Christmas is
HERE!
