Christmas 2016A Poem by Heath MindyA personal thanks
As the year comes close to its end,
A thank you I want here to send: Letting my children know how dear, Time with each of you, being near Meant the world to me and beyond- I can't tell you each how much I am fond, of all the memories, of peace and love, I have had with you- I love you so much, and God loves each of you so very much too! He reminds me that He counts every hair on your head, He never sleeps, He watches over you, while you are in bed! He travels with you, where ever you go- Being loved by God, you both need to know, Is the eternal gift He gave to your souls, So never behave as lost little trolls! Your sweet as can be, and I know it is Love, That God blessed your hearts from His kingdom above, To think of visiting your dear ol mom I pray for you each night and at the wake of my dawn. Remember to pray and thank Him each day, for we have each other to journey this way- Under His arms like the wings of a bird, Rejoice you have seen, and you have heard, The good news that He has conquered this world, You can walk the straight and narrow and not get stuck in the twirl, Everyone who forgets God are going astray, nothing you'd want for His judgment Day. For every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus is Lord, and they all will bow down On there way to hell, with an eternal frown- All they had to do was believe and receive, the greatest gift of all, Our Jesus to cleave! A friend bigger than all friends, a help with no debts, he gives life, and does not just lend-it it yours forever, something to thank Him for! Visit Him today, and every day, thank Him He knocked at your hearts door! (JOHN 3:16)
