Salvation is of The Lord! by mjh 2014

a very short response to another poem I wrote "Bitter'

Only God can show Himself to anyone and no one can introduce you to whom you do not choose to meet-

Even if you are angry with whom you perceive

God to be

You have been offered His love to receive

To Believe

The one who chose to meet

and accepted His love as most sweet

Does not deserve

Your anger

To cause pain and defeat

You really need to wash her feet.

She is merely His Bride

He is the one to place your honor and integrity (that kind of pride!

Salvation is of the Lord, not at all of man

It is by HIs word, not His people you repent as He does command.

Only on His word, can anyone's Salvation stand!

Not in the crowds of the religious, not in the corners of the humble,

If your salvation is not in Christ, your life eventually however good or bad it is, will crumble, but never will your soul be led to stumble

into Hell,
This I can tell

For Salvation is only of The Lord! mjh 2014

Author's Note

many times I have heard folks say they were willing to be Christians but the people at the church made them feel unaccepted and judged. It is not the church that you need to look to for acceptance, it is Christ. As Christ's people you are the church! You may be visiting a church building meaning a building called church but that is not the church of Christ if Christ is not there-but even when he is there, it is HE who saves you not the vessesl he is abiding in to save daily through fear and trembling- perhaps you have been where there is no fear and trembling before the holy God, or perhaps you have been where it is merly a building. Also when I say fear and trembling it is not any type of fear and trembling that any man or person induces, it is the kind of broken heartedness that crys out to God to lead you not into temptation but deliver you from evil, and then moves on, like Mary Magdalene, a beautiful woman that had fear of what the world was going to do to her, but knew Jesus was the true judge and went to the merciful king, knowing His love is all that mattered, to be OUT OF HIS LOVE GIVES CAUSE FOR FEAR AND TREMbing! She was in His love, so the world could not really hurt her new birth spirit and that was all that mattered, she was not going to engage in the sin anymore, she had no cause to -she was rich in Jesus!
