"

Not at all describing pantheism, this poem is merely using the picture of two strong evergreen trees guiding a child along the path of life.

Two Trees by mjh 2014 1:46 am of June 10th

You see those two trees

On the edge of the path

That is Mom and Dad

Guiding you from God’s wrath

Do you see those two trees

On the edge of the path

Shading you from the heat

One of those branches is for you

A seat.

One day when you look up

In the sky above

You will feel His love

Take His bread and cup

One day you will understand

The vessels use of these hands

The looks upon the faces

The meaning of all those places

We went in His word

Like a bird

You will fly

And be delivered from every lie

His truth and love in you

Will abide

That my darlings

Is when you end the bumpy rides.

You will see these trees alongside the path

As two more gifts, to be delivered from His wrath.
