The Tale of MillywogA Poem by C. Harter AmosSilly nonsense for a contest.
Millywog, the tressle-sweeps
Did hang lilies along the railing
The linger-pollen did tickle her weeps
And make her nissle go off wailing.
Millywog, ho, up and begiggled
Did tend to all the green belly-flogs
Who hung about the graveyard dehangled
Thinking they would breath the lily-smogs.
Not wanting to sneeze or nissle-drip
The bellyflogs greyer did whisle
'til dehangled they were dipped
And to the mayor they jumped above thisle
Sadly, after the chamber-lads Millywog dribbled.
