Friend

A Poem by Miles H Rider
"

Love and Suicide

"
Friend,
I worry when your down,
the darkness that overshadows,
the wrinkles in your frown.

I want to take your hand,
to show you they way.
I want you to feel,
that it's ok to stay.

I shall not walk away,
whilst you fall.
My hand outstretched,
to help you from the floor.

I could not forgive myself,
if you were not around.
Because my love for you,
is deep and profound.

Please do not leave me!
Please don't cry!
Please don't turn your back,
your last goodbye.

Because there's someone here for you,
upon which you can rely,
forever till the cancer leaves
and you no need to cry.
