Should this be our final goodbye?
It seems we are just living a lie
A false illusion is put on display
Whilst the edges of my heart begin to fray
 
We see each other everyday
But it seems the love has gone away
What was fun, now seems lost
Wish we could have it again
But at what cost
You were so caring, fun and sincere
Losing you is my biggest fear
 
Where have we gone?
What’s happened to us?
Relationships fade, why make a fuss
A vacant memory lingers
Of what we once had
I know without you
I’ll be mournful and sad
No longer able to feel your touch, your warmth, your kiss
This is something I will forever miss

So sad but relationships require commitment and effort on both sides.Perhaps not revealing all your cards can create this or perhaps prevent this depending on individual personality.Sometimes we tend to be exploited by those whom we love so intently when they think they have the other locked into the relationship they continue testing the strength of the fence
