The strangerA Poem by Millzy86written 2002 one of my first attempt to not be 1st person narrative
Along the daunting road
He walks so slow The pain and anger diminishing That he so well knows His work, his life all a mess His self controls growing less Why does everyone hate him so much? His lonely heart no one will touch When will life give him a break? So far all it’s done is take Into the forest he quickens his pace Resting in front of a stream Fighting his case An angel comes to comfort him His eyes are glazed Tears on the brim She takes him back to the road Where his life was taken To his new life he is awoken Waking up to see the lights For him there are no more lonely nights He’s with his creator
