Today I am sad

There is a sadness at my core that is subtle and pervasive

It is fatiguing

I

am fatigued

but it is light

I barely know it's there

A subtle wisp of mired melancholy spun like cotton candy

Touch on it and feel slightly sticky 

lightly stickier

but have no lasting evidence
