Familiar

Familiar

I was watching Lights Out episode 12 and a scene got me thinking of the little kisses, the pecks that happen within a relationship. They're taken for granted but they're the ones that speak volumes. Born of a familiarity, of a knowledge that you'll kiss that person again, of a knowledge that they'll be around. It's a show of trust and solidarity and just one is enough to take away fear, calm nerves, and give hope in a seemingly hopeless situation.
Familiar

took solace from just one kiss

a simple peck

all the difference

a look of trust

a seal

she no longer worries

Love

There's nothing about me. I play with pauses as well as silence. I write words, assign meanings and junk, and play with a language that might be as much my own as another. I don't know. more..
