LukewarmA Poem by Arly ParentIt's quiet I sit here in this calm and the world passes us by
There's nothing
and so we go
shadows in the darkness cool breezes on the sea yet doldrums in our cores nothingness and so we go
onward onward and so we go
To brand new lands and lukewarm waters mirrors of our souls
we are borne away taken on a journey uncaring finished and disgusted...almost but not quite
onward onward and so we go © 2011 Arly Parent |
