Those Days ForgottenA Poem by Arly ParentOnce, the whole of writerscafe lost their poetry. I lost everything i'd written except this one. Those Day Forgotten by:Arly Parent
Those days forgotten That we long to know Those days the parts of us that show
our hearts our souls what we once were what he had put together thats unraveled la coeur
Times past But never lost Reached for At whatever cost
Never caught And never bought Always fleeting Yet always sought
Not the same And never will be Should we all lose hope At what we can evidently see?
Was I better than? A better me?
Who am I? What can I see?
Is this truth Or a warped image in my sights?
Should I even make this comparison? Will it even help?
The answer lies Somewhere deep Somewhere Maybe...where things creep in the recesses of the mind or the valleys of the sky Some place i'll never know nor find 'Til the day I die
