In All You

In All You

A Poem by Arly Parent

There’s a beauty in all things

the subtle, distinctive curl of a mouth

the recognizable crinkle at the corner of lip and cheek

the tone that stops hearts and is both infinitely weak and fiercely strong

There's beauty in the loaded silences

the sweet, scary promises

There''s beauty in the sadness

because with it came hope

There's beauty in all things...

but...

well...

I read this over and...

maybe there's just beauty in you

About
There's nothing about me. I play with pauses as well as silence. I write words, assign meanings and junk, and play with a language that might be as much my own as another. I don't know. more..
