I don't want to say goodnight

I don't want to say goodnight

A Poem by Arly Parent

I kinda don't really wanna say goodnight
I kinda just wanna smile at you and make conversation about anything and everything
if only to be around you a moment longer
_______
I don't really want to say good night
stay the lips
the mirth
this night

I don't want to say goodnight
but I must if I am to
kiss your lips anew
catch a glimpse of you
be surprised at the sight of you
fall in love and
run away
with you

I must bid (thee?)  farewell
my love
til we meet again
adieu

Very cute piece - simple with a nice, universal theme. Interesting rhyming scheme as well, I enjoyed this very much.
