Words Run Dry

Words Run Dry

A Poem by Scarlett Thorne

Please tell me what to say, you have brought me to the point where words run dry.
Are you happy? Are you sad? Am I the best memory you've ever had?
I wish you'd speak.
Please, tell me what to say!
Your silence is driving me up the wall.
Not even a message? Not even a call?
Are you busy or just relaxing?
Is this the end of another relationship relapsing?
Are you asleep or awake?
God! I need a break!
Too many questions with too few answers.

It's late now, I'll go to bed, but no sleep will come with these thoughts in my head.
So now I'll have a dreamless sleep. Just thoughts about you and the times that were sweet...

Love this! Excellent job penning the 'madness' so vivid and accurately.

Thanks for the share
