Half an hour later, she was sitting in her third period class. She missed first and second period due to sleeping in, and she knew when she got home, her mother would scold her. She sunk down in her chair in hopes that would make the teacher oblivious to her being there. Even though she had extra sleep, Kayla was exhausted. As her teacher went on about atoms, Kayla closed her tired eyes, quickly falling asleep. Soon, the bell sounded, pulling kayla back to consciousness. She got up, gathering her supplies, and quietly scurried out of class.
