Keep Dreaming

Keep Dreaming

A Poem by Miles

My pillow
Pushing through my bed
And waking up in a new place
Shoes are gone again
I'm feeling awe
And I want to walk around

There's some random memory people
Missing you in my dreams
Let's take a ride
And pay the toll man
Hidden charges all the sudden
'Cause nothing's simple

Fly fishing in the clouds
Gummy bear bait hanging tight
A new paper adventure beginning
But everyone left
So starts the solo quest

Passing through the castle doors
I've been frozen here for days
Condensation's pouring down my face
Shine out the timelessness
With quick forgetfulness

Late for my train
Hope I'll make the date
Hope it lasts forever
But I know she's waiting on me

Strange people on the journey
More passive projectiles
Will they die?
Will they notice?
Not without a third eye

Sudoku fell out my hands
So close to being done
And I was gonna win big
But something's wrong with my pen
Who knows where it's been?
Put your fingers on the floor
And sense the shadowing door

Was I going somewhere?
I think I'm in Paris
Nothing's here to scare us
Take my hand, guitar

The night is long
And the dream is far
Can't find a reason
Or where to belong
Just keep going
And maybe the wind will keep blowing
