Defy

Defy

A Poem by Miles

Sunken tower, little bridge
An easy way to get the ridge
Two more flowers up on the table
Take my will and take my lable

Wondering when I'll find a way
To swim and stretch and treasure hunt
On a sunny beach in the middle of a desert

I'll never know
'Cause you'll always know
Where the f**k I am
And where the f**k I'll be

Leave me to the river
Trust it to deliver
All and everything I'll ever need
From anyone but me

Dead vibrations from the floor
Cannot sense who they're flowin' for
Don't wanna jump into the street
Don't wanna smell your stinkin' feet

Trick me into an unconscious covenant
While anything could go wrong as we speak
Another story of a man on his edge

I'll never show
'Cause you'll always know
What the f**k I'll see
And where the f**k I'll go

Leave me to the river
Trust it to deliver
All and everything I'll ever need
From anyone but me

Leave out
Leave me here
Leave me be
Leave me me

Leave me my life
Let me defy

Yes, Tandi, it was made for a song :)

Is this a song that you wrote? Nicely done, love the flow. Even if it was meant for a poem, and not a song, still amazing. I like this one!
