We All Make Mistakes

We All Make Mistakes

A Poem by Miles

Wondering if you made it
Wondering it you bade it
Goodbye, hello
Goodnight, mellow

All in the mind
Never too late to find
That we're all together
At the tip of the feather

Flying high in the sky
Letting loose over our empire
Blaming each other for our fire
Too proud to step up
And take the fall

And forever will be
With eyes too blind to see
Each and every one of us makes mistakes
Thought we lack the courage to admit it
For our own sakes
