Devil

Devil

A Poem by Miles

Red and blue checkerboard
Lookin' for a better lord
Can't see the skyline
Promised me a gold mine

But I'm just waiting in line
Can't say this faith is mine
Don't need to visit a shrine
I think I'll be fine

On souls and roles I'll dine
With my stolen spirits I'll shine
Don't need your permission
Just a mercenary mission

Clip my wings before I fly
Build an empire and make men cry
Burn 'em up in a fiery pit
Force them to eat their own s**t
