Peyote Prophecy

Peyote Prophecy

A Poem by Miles

This morning
Is one of tall trees
Sipping on their snow cones
Stealing rabbit liqueur
Like a sapphire isomatrix

Shifting like a vortex
Blinding astral cortex
Belief beyond repair
Floating rocking wheelchair

Blessed like a dinosaur
From heel to toe
It's all just fundamental displacement

This is a keeling shore
What are they kneeling for?
Satellite reflections of sunlight
Psychotic preoccupation with foresight

Revel your fated orb
Placed in spaced
Not to touch
Or else, death you'll face

Compromise a spice
Negotiate with gods
Remember the ingested cactus
Become self-conscious
