Karma

Karma

A Poem by Miles

From the echo
Back to the source
Should've known
Paranoid karmatic law

Brace yourself
Three-fold stigma
Illogical shadow attack
Psychosomatic guilt

Buried psychic lesson
Taking its time
Never know when it'll strike
Hiding, waiting for pride

You may've forgotten the wrong
And you may've already righted it
But the subconscious submarine never forgets
Here comes another hypocritical torpedo

Instinctive masochistic punishment
Unwilling to admit the truth
Passing off good times
In fear of ridiculous retribution
