Deviled Egg

Deviled Egg

A Poem by Miles

Boiled, broiled, soiled, and coiled
Like a snake
Fell off the wall
Broke a bathroom stall

Fire licks his lips
He never gets tips
No time to be pleasant
Everyone else is a peasant

Likes to make Jell-O
Too lazy to learn the cello
He's not a fickle fellow
Much worse than mellow

Complicated, stipulated
Worthless and worthwhile
Damned to work for low pay
Too much and nothing to say
