Quoth The Sandman

Quoth The Sandman

A Poem by Miles

Could I be any more passively loathing?
Time is like a sushi box
And a riddle is like a gnome having a heart attack

We are all boar hunters
Death is treachery
A duck is like an old shoe
And being broke is just another way of saying good-bye

A swan song is like a golden tie
At dark, palm trees sigh
Duty comes from the left eye
And a toilet flushes each time someone dies

Antlers are shed in winter
Water parks are portals
Believe and be conquered
And ravens serve the moon

Astrology is a showcase
Rotten roses mean good luck
A broken doorknob is like a chapped lip
And never shake hands with an ant

Good day, and good night
But do not quote the Sandman
