Today Is A Lime-Green Day

Today Is A Lime-Green Day

A Poem by Miles

I will blow my bear whistle
Stick it in a thistle
Shoot twice, throw dice
And leave my umbrella outside

'Cause today is a lime-green day
Quit your job and triple your pay
Break your lawn-mower and dilate your pupils

We are all octopi
Here is my lullaby
That is, my alibi

Bringing you back
But you never would
Hooked on casinos and beaners
But I don't mind
I got my own stilettos

Leave your kids in a ninety-degree car
Hitch a stitch in time
And don't forget to squeeze a lime
...'cause today is a lime-green day
