I can feel you in the wind

When the rain falls gently

When your creatures' stares linger

When all is quiet

I can feel you in the forest

When the trees sway rhythmically

When the moon rises

When the birds call out

I can feel you in my improvised tunes

In my dreams

In my panic

In my rage

But I want to know you

And I want to be with you forever

Through life and death

You will always be there

Retaining an eternal, perfect presence

On this lonely planet and beyond
