A Convo With Mr. Magic Dragon

A Convo With Mr. Magic Dragon

A Poem by Miles

I may be mistaken
But aren't you the one?
The ancestor of a thousand trees?

I can feel the spiral
Bringing me closer to its blue hue
If I was a bird...

Run it through me again
The quest and the paradox you speak of
No more rough cuts and blonde edges
We're stackin' somethin' good!

Feeling this light
Oh so stark and lurid
If I was a lawn mower...

Any exception is a lack of reception
Bloss these hooves for tommorow's inception
I cut my toe last time

Look, a rainbow!
It's been too long, Mr. Magic Dragon
Let us have vampires for lunch!

Blossom and fetch them for me, will ya?
Something is lacking in this grave of architecture
Can it breathe normally?

...And where's my salad?!
Tenaciously incubated
Rotting and sloshing like seagulls

Following shocks of reason
Daresay, I'd rather be happy
Methodically enhancing

This is a very strange acid trip..
I'm not sure if I'm suppose to be 'looking deeper' in to this poem for some hidden message, or if it's just a weird poem in general.
I can't say that it was my favorite poem I have ever read. I have never been a huge fan of freeform poetry and I feel like there isn't a very good flow of syllables here. Maybe next time make the poem blend better? Possibly make it seem a little less crazy? Those are just some suggestions..

Well, just to set things straight, this is definitely a free form poem written by-the-thought while having missed more than a day of sleep. And it was also made during my early poetry days.
