Tumbleweed

Tumbleweed

A Poem by Miles

Past all the harmonics and resonating eyebrows
Something vibrates feverishly
Reverbing entropy
Among antipathy

Dare to take a bow and stand on one leg
Greet the hatter and don't forget to cook the egg
A gross diction of what passes as lunacy
A minor error of delusional descripancy

I'm trying to sip this straw as we usually do
But something just keeps on scratching
Always latching on, breaking my security
If I could only just let go and let live

Don't let me become like a tapeworm on steroids
Blessed with intelligence, slickness, and the ability to fiend
Far down the road it may seem
But I would never want that for me or whoever could be

Left out like a tumbleweed
Drifting passively and aggressively
Pickin' up and spinnin' round
Never lettin' up and never lettin' down

A barren existance in a dry wasteland
It was once thought to be fine
But the situation got out hand
Just like sand

It fell between the unseen cracks
Leaving behind no tracks
No way to bring back old times
Busted windows and burning shacks
